This is a very brief showcase of my freelance web work.
You may also want to take a look at the work I have done with Ocean Agency.
Showloon TV, 2009
ShowloonTV is a video blog(or 'vlog') showcasing films, music and culture.
The whole project was conducted entirely online. The guys from Showloon got in touch wanting a web site that they could add their videos to with ease.
The process involved taking their initial Photoshop design and changing it to a web template. I then used this as a theme for the blog platform, WordPress to allow them to add their own blog posts to the site.
Tech: CSS, XHTML, WordPress
The Happy Potter Ceramic Cafe, 2008
Happy Potter Ceramic Cafe is a contemporary paint-your-own ceramics cafe, based in Thornhill in Dumfriesshire.
The project involved an inital meeting with the client to discuss site requirements, including the look and functionality of the site.
Working with a graphic designer, I took his design and built the web pages from this. I then integrated this into the blog platform sNews to allow the client to add news and events to the site.
Tech: CSS, XHTML, sNews
NHS Golden Jubilee National Hospital, 2007
The Golden Jubilee National Hospital is a pioneering hospital in Clydebank, UK.
Shortly after graduating, I began working with the hospital on a 1-year contract to develop two web sites and an internal intranet system.
This web site was great to work on. I build a custom Content Management System to allow staff to update various parts of the site.

Milans Collection, 2006
Milans Collection design hand embroidered shawls for silk and cashmere fabrics.
This project was conducted entirely online and was probably my first major database-driven web site. It was set up to allow the client to easily create new catalogues and add new items.
